This bright red co-ord from Hermès, consisting of a pair of cotton trousers and a cotton blazer-style jacket, is so versatile. We see so many styling possibilities: rough it up with black Doc Martens and a black turtleneck or keep it simple by adding an Yves Saint Laurent belt (like the one pictured) and a pair of heels for evening sleekness. Created under Jean Paul Gaultier's creative direction in the early 00s, it is beautifully tailored with impeccable attention to details, such as all pockets being lined with luxurious silk, even the small front pocket on the jacket.
